'Wanna Play?' by Ava Archer Payne

Blurb:

Dr. Gina Columbine is one of LA’s rising stars in the world of celebrity sports. A talented physical therapist and sports psychologist, she’s fought her way past locker room bravado and up the corporate ladder. But if she wants to make it to the top, she has one more job to do: Get the notoriously difficult, thrill-seeking, bad-boy pitcher, Howard Brockman, off the sidelines and back on the mound. Permanently.

No problem, she thinks. Well within her skill set. Until she gets one look at her newest client…

Attn Reader: If you’re looking for a sweet love story, rather than a spicy romance, this isn’t the book for you. When Brock and Gina collide, they generate HEAT.

Read an excerpt:
Gina looked at Howard Brockman first. She couldn’t help it. Her gaze locked on his and stayed there, pinned in place as if held by magnetic force. He was staggeringly beautiful. Not just handsome in that pro-athlete, swaggering male sort of way. She was used to that. Immune to it, even.

But this guy… This guy took her breath away.

Now, she had seen Brockman on the field. She had seen his face on billboards, magazine covers, and TV commercials. She’d watched him chat it up with reporters on ESPN. But nothing beat up close and personal.

He was sitting in a leather recliner, naked from the waist up, his feet bare and his long legs stretched out in front of him. A pair of navy sweatpants rode low on slim male hips. His body wasn’t overly inflated like a football player, or too lean like an Olympic swimmer. His proportions were perfect, his body lean and hard everywhere. In the space of thirty seconds, Gina lost her professional edge. Suddenly she was Goldilocks and he was Mr. Just Right.
