Meet Nadira & Jonathan Keel from 'Hathor Legacy: Outcast' by Deborah Bailey, now in audiobook!

Nadira and Jonathan Keel, the heroine and hero of Hathor Legacy: Outcast are here today to answer a few questions.

So how did you two meet?
Jonathan: I went to Hathor to look for my father. He's CEO of the mine on the neighboring moon, and there was a robbery. He was missing and I had to find out what happened. I got picked up for a minor offense and was taken in for questioning. Nadira was one of the Guardians who questioned me.
Nadira: Minor? Okay, we'll talk about that later.
Jonathan: When I met her, I was sure she'd fall in love with me right away and she did.
Nadira: No comment.
Jonathan: See? I told you. Then after I was released, she followed me and asked me to dinner.
Nadira: Followed you? I was on the job and you were a person of interest. But yes, we did have dinner and that's when we started to get to know each other.
How difficult is it to manage your relationship? Don't you two have some kind of psychic connection?
Nadira: I'm a Guardian and we all have PSI abilities. I had to form a connection with Jon in order to protect him while we searched for his father.
Jonathan: In other words, we can read each other's thoughts. *turns to Nadira* Can you read mine now? What am I thinking?
Nadira: *shakes head* I know what you're always thinking about. But we can't talk about that right now.
Jonathan: That's not what you said last night. *smiles*
Nadira: Jon!
Jonathan how do you like it on Hathor? Any plans?
Jonathan: It's great here. I lived on Astarte most of my life. That's about 3 days from here on the space shuttle. Things are much slower there. Lots of farms and not as many big cities. I'm glad to be here. The best part, though, is that I met Nadira and fell in love with her.

Nadira: It was fate that we met. Really. There's no other way to explain it. *leans over to kiss him*
What do Guardians do on Hathor?
Nadira: We work for Novacorp company security. They're the corporation that runs the mining operations. All Guardians have PSI abilities and we can discover criminal activity in ways that regular company security can't.
Were you able to find Jonathan's father and solve the crime with the mine robbery?
Jonathan: It's probably better not to give too many details. Things are still under investigation.
Nadira: Sorry, but we can't say too much about it just yet. But I'll say that we both uncovered much more than we expected.
So what's in the future for you two?
Jonathan: More adventures. I like to help her with her work. We work well together, don't we?
Nadira: Yes, we do. I told you, it was fate that brought us together. We make a good team. *smiles*
Jonathan: See, she can't help herself. She's madly in love with me.
Nadira: Jon! I thought it was the other way around.
Jonathan: Okay, we're mad about each other. *laughs*
Nadira: That sounds about right. *leans over for another kiss*

Book description

On the planet, Hathor, a powerful group called the Guardians serves as the security force for Novacorp, the corporation that runs Hathor with its ruthless monopoly. Nadira, as one of the most powerful Guardians, is expected to use her intuition and telekinetic powers to keep the capital city safe from thieves and intruders.

Jonathan Keel, son of a mine CEO on the nearby planet, Astarte, is wealthy, privileged and used to getting what he wants. When his father goes missing after a robbery and explosion at the mine, he defies the authorities and heads to Hathor to search for him and for the robbers.

Security is on high alert and Nadira is charged with protecting Jon. She rescues him from a vicious attack and discovers that the Guardians have another agenda that has nothing to do with solving the crime.

Jonathan finds evidence of his father's possible involvement, while his attraction to Nadira forces her to confront all she has known about being a Guardian, especially the rule to put duty before her personal feelings.

Struggling with their growing desires, and chased by company security, Jon and Nadira flee the city. But solving the crime leads them to endure betrayals from the people closest to them, as secrets are revealed that not only link their pasts but also threaten to destroy Jon's family and separate him from Nadira forever.
