Cyndarella (Cyn) Bazzi, married seven years to Chaldean immigrant and international hotel broker, Bashar, and owner of advertising agency, Peachtree Productions. Three children: Nadia (7) and twins Zaid and Zahir (2). Daughter of Willa and Vernon Worthy and brother to Pete Worthy. Once dated Thad Mitchell.
Tavie (Octavia) Slade, teacher, single. Currently dating Jamaican Orville Kirkland, who used to be married to Geneva. Had a long-time relationship with Mack (Mackenzie) Dooley, who also hooked up with Geneva. Tavie is hoping that things will start moving towards commitment with Orville soon, but the shadow of Geneva hangs over her relationships.
Denise (Dee) Lincoln, creative director at Peachtree Productions. Married to Sean, one daughter, Marla (12). Now in her early 40s, Denise is currently receiving treatment for infertility as she and Sean want to complete their family. Sean, however, feels that Denise put off trying to conceive a second child for too long in favour of her career, which is causing tension in their marriage.
Vette (Corvette) Vern, the only White member of the group, she’s currently single but in a relationship with older man, Louis Burns. Has two adopted children, Carly (12) and Brent (11). Vette, a former model, owns a court reporting business. She is waiting on Louis to propose, and also has a troubled relationship with her mother, Tara, a surgical nurse, and was only reunited recently with her estranged father.
The ladies have been the best of friends since junior high, and meet regularly to share the tears and triumphs, the playfulness and passion, and the ups and downs of their relationships with their men.
