Elesian Dragon Mates: The Complete Series by Sammie Joyce

One young witch coming into her powers. Four smoking hot dragon shifters. Defending their way of life together.

Complete series in this boxed set.

I didn't choose the life of a coven leader. I was born into it and refusing the position wasn't an option.
When I met my dragons, my life changed for the better. Stepping into my new role became easier with their support.
But my bliss didn't last. It couldn't with the threats facing our coven and our way of life.
My sisters hated the dragons and blamed them for the violence. They didn't see things as I did and it was now my job to show strength and courage as I defended our coven and my dragons.
I wasn't sure how I'd face it all. I had no idea how bad it would get.
But I was certain that I wouldn't be alone. I was certain my dragon lovers wouldn't desert me. And when the baby came, things got so much more complicated. I was certain my life would never the the same again.

Was Rose naive? Was there any way she could be in love with four alpha males and not deal with jealousy, discontent, and uncertainty?

Will a baby complete this family or will their enemies tear them apart before they're ever together?

Read an excerpt:

"The dragons are all descended from the Bond family, but fortunately, they have been dying out for a while now; obviously, we do everything we can to keep them from breeding. Such acts only happen when one of them manages to slip from our control. Currently, all of the dragons in existence are male, which means that they will die out within a generation.”

Rose raised her hand.

“Yes, Rose?”

“Can’t they breed with human women?”

“No. Such offspring are not able to survive. The human and dragon genes seem to be incompatible.”

Rose wanted to ask if they could breed with witches, but decided to keep that question to herself.

“Their leader, Atticus Bond, was killed in the Great Rebellion, along with three others. There are now ten left, divided between the three covens.

“Even as reduced as their numbers are, they are still powerful enough to destroy the world if we let them get out of hand. Only the brute force of our magic can keep everyone safe. The Great Rebellion was particularly bloody even for a dragon uprising, but it had characteristics that are recognizable in all scenarios throughout history when the dragons have slipped our control.”

'The Dragon's Queen (Dragon Lords #9)' by Michelle M. Pillow

Alpha Dragon seeks his Queen...

Blurb:

Mede knows three things for a fact: As the only female dragon-shifter of her people, she is special. She can kick the backside of any man. And she absolutely doesn’t want to marry.

Mede has spent a lifetime trying to prove herself as strong as any male warrior. Unfortunately, being the special, rare creature she is, she’s been claimed as the future bride to nearly three dozen Draig—each one confident that when they come for her hand in marriage fate will choose them. When the men aren’t bragging about how they’re going to marry her, they’re acting like she’s a delicate rare flower in need of their protection.

She is far from a shrinking solarflower.

Llyr knows four things for a fact: He is the future king of the dragon-shifters. He must act honorably in all ways. He absolutely, positively is meant to marry Lady Mede. And she dead set against marriage.

Llyr’s fate rests in the hands of a woman determined not to have any man. With a new threat emerging amongst their cat-shifting neighbors, a threat whose eyes are focused firmly on Mede, time may be running out. It is up to him to convince her to be his dragon queen.

Read an exclusive excerpt:
“Why are you so adverse to marriage? Your parents seem very well suited to each other.” Llyr watched Mede carefully as she walked next to one of the sick ceffyls.
“This ceffyl ate solarflowers,” Mede answered. The large animal walked slowly with its center horn pointed more forward than up as its head drooped. It stayed close to Mede as if the creature remembered her from its ceffylhood. Chances were it did. The creature opened its mouth and slithered a long tongue against Mede’s arm. The action was slow and the reptilian eyes had a glassy sheen. “And then she was given her normal food. That’s what’s wrong with her. They can’t eat solarflowers and normal food close together. It’s toxic to them.”
“That doesn’t answer my question. Why do you dislike the idea of marriage?”
“You should really take better care of the animals in your charge.” Mede kept walking, not looking at him. The cool mountain breeze gave an odd contrast to the heat of midday. Seeing the orb of the blue sun reminded him of how rare Mede’s birth was. The temperatures on the planet were always warm, though it could get chilly in the mountains. The blue radiation genetically altered the men so they produced mostly sons.
“So you’re not going to answer my question?”
“How hard is it to make sure there are no solarflowers near their grazing land?” she asked.
Llyr chuckled. “Fine. You don’t want to answer.”
Mede glanced over her shoulder to where Tomos followed behind them. He was too far back to listen easily. “Every male during my training tried to claim me as a bride. My mother wants me to have a thousand children. My father wants anything that will please my mother. I want to be treated like an equal and not a brood mare.”

“Only a thousand?” Llyr drawled wryly.
Mede turned a shocked look toward him and then started to laugh. “Yes, only a thousand.”
“So your mother wants to be a grandmother and boys had crushes on you when you were a child, so naturally you don’t want to marry just to be contrary?”
Mede grimaced. “Don’t say it like that. It makes it sound ridiculous.”
“Well…”
She arched a brow. “I won’t apologize for being me and wanting what I want—not to a commoner, not to a Var, not to the Prince of all the Draig, not to the King of the Accursed Universe. So you smile your handsome little smile and think whatever you want, but insult my life choices again and that’s one battle you’ll lose to a girl.”
Llyr tried to look properly chastised.
“And you’re baiting me, aren’t you?” she asked in exasperation.
Llyr couldn’t maintain innocence and started to laugh. “You think my smile is handsome?”
“I think you, prince, are teasing me.” Mede reached her hand to pet the ceffyl as they walked. Her long, delicate fingers glanced over the center of the animal’s face. “I’m just not sure why.”
“Maybe I like you,” Llyr admitted. It was only a fraction of the truth. When he looked at her, he felt as if he’d found himself. When she touched him, his skin lit on fire and a shockwave rocked him to the very core. He thought of her more than he thought of himself. He wanted desperately to win her, not because the crystal glowing in his pocket told him they were fated but because she chose him. He wanted her to choose him.

'Dragon's Guide to Slaying Virgins (An Otherworld Realms Novel)' by Isabelle Saint-Michael

Blurb:

Morgan had resigned herself to death. She had been ready to follow her true love into the afterlife, if only a certain Dragon hadn’t “rescued” her. She wasn’t grateful – after all, she was a full-fledged Lady Knight and perfectly capable of making her own decisions, without the help of arrogant Dragon Lords, no matter how good-looking everyone seemed to think they were…

After dragging Lady Morgan from a Troll’s lair and dropping her off in another realm, Vallen thought he’d never see her again. But then an old member of his Knight Order betrays her oaths and begins amassing an army of thugs and highwaymen - in the same realm he’d left Morgan.

Racing back with only his brother for a squire, Vallen finds Lady Morgan, accompanied by a teenage Werewolf, ready to take on this Dragon all by herself. But it will take all of them to defeat her, and little do they know that in this battle, the secrets of their broken hearts will rise up from the past and walk again…

A half romance, half fantasy with a strong female lead, full of humor, tragedy, love, revenge, trust, betrayal, loyalty, and broken hearts coming together to heal each other. Containing both steamy love scenes and rousing battle scenes, this is a book for the modern romance or fantasy reader.

Read an excerpt:
Vallen awoke to the sounds of Young singing, off tune, again. “What are you doing?” Vallen grumbled, resisting the urge to pull the blanket back up over his head.
“Singing while I pee, my favorite morning ritual.” Young turned around, having just finished watering the local flora.
“Of course it is. Why ever would I have a brother who conducts himself with a measure of grace?” Vallen forced himself to sit up and take note of their surroundings. As he suspected, they had spent the night uninterrupted. Vallen tugged on his boots and fought his way to his feet to stagger to the stream.
“Are you ready to get going?” Young bounced around behind him, pulling a light coat on over his tunic.
“Are you always this chipper in the morning?”
“No.” Young thought about it. “Actually, today I think I’m sort of quiet.” Vallen mentally sent a heartfelt apology to Sir Leon for having to train Young.
“If your squire brothers smother you in your sleep I will know it was justified and not insist on seeing vengeance served.” Vallen rolled his bedroll back up and gave his younger brother a cutting glare. “It makes me thankful I was out defending the realm in your early years and Grandmother was left to deal with you.”
“I was an adorable Whelpling. She thought I was a refreshing joy after the years of boredom she had with you.” His mocking tone did little to soothe Vallen’s morning mood.
“It’s going to be very hard to be a bard if you’re missing your vocal chords.” Immediately Young shut up.
It took about an hour, but the boys fed themselves and the horses, packed up, and headed out. By the time the sun was dancing in the midmorning sky, Young was already whining for a break. Despite his best pouts, that had obviously worked so well on his riding instructor, they pushed on. Vallen told him repeatedly that they could rest when they arrived at the portal, but Young knew better.
“So what if we see the crazy girl again? I mean, if she’s still alive.”
Vallen shot his brother a warning look. “She isn’t our concern. Avery is our target. Our mission is to go in, put down Avery, disband her men, and then go home. It shouldn’t take all that long.”
“Yeah, but let’s say the crazy girl… what was her name?” Young asked, snapping his fingers.
“Lady Morgan.”
“Yes, that’s it. Her. What if she’s there and is all, ‘Oh, Dragon, eat me,’ or something like that. What then?”
“The eloquence of your words astounds me.” Vallen resisted rolling his eyes. “We keep her from killing herself if she is there. She is an innocent and thus should be protected.”
“I don’t know about that. She is evidently some all-powerful warrior or something.”

Vallen snorted. “You think everyone is an enchanted warrior. You think I am.”
“You are!”
“Fine, I’m a bad example. Why are you so sure she was?”

'Fury of Obsession' by Coreene Callahan

Fury of Obsession

by Coreene Callahan

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Dragon-warrior Venom lives in self-imposed isolation. Cursed by his toxic touch, he is deadly to anyone who has contact with him for too long. Set apart from others and hounded by intense loneliness, he craves the lasting connection he believes he cannot possess. Until a chance encounter with a sultry mortal offers a ray of hope…
Evelyn Foxe is the woman of Venom’s every desire, but she’s too busy running from the Russian mob to think about love. As she accepts Venom’s offer to help her escape her precarious situation, she’s skeptical, afraid that he’s in league with those sent to harm her. But when a biological weapon is unleashed in her hometown, Evelyn is forced to trust Venom—or risk the dangers of going it alone.
Will they survive the firestorm that rages around them? And can they pull from the ashes a love that will defy all the odds and last through the ages?
Read an excerpt:
Instinct whispered in her ear, plying her with suspicion. She frowned. What was his game? He must be running one. Venom wasn’t stupid. Far from it. Which meant he must’ve known. Must’ve guessed what would happen— that he wouldn’t be able to hide his scalier side from her forever.
Or maybe he’d simply planned on lying to her . . . ad infinitum.
The thought tugged at her temper. An odd reaction. Not at all warranted. She didn’t own the right to be pissed off at him. Anger didn’t belong in the equation. She’d planned to use him for money. He’d wanted her for sex. A simple exchange. No fuss. No muss. And yet, the idea of him being dishonest with her woke something primal. Something dangerous. Something that shoved her toward the truth. The thought of Venom lying to her more than bothered her. It infuriated her, violated her sense of . . . of . . . well, she didn’t know exactly. Right and wrong? Her sense of self-worth? A healthy dose of pride, maybe? No clue. But whatever the catalyst, it lit the fuse, setting moral indignation on fire, tipping the balance, making her throw caution to the wind.
Eyes narrowed, she scowled up at him. “Venom.”
“Almost there, mazleiha.”
“Where are we going?”
“Somewhere safe.”
“Will your dragon friends be there?”
Her clipped tone made him glance down. She glared at him.
A wary light entered his eyes. “No. It’ll just be you and me for a while.”
“Good,” she said, hot sauce in her tone. “We need to talk.”
“You gonna take it easy on me?”
“No.”
He grimaced. “That’s what I thought.”
Dragon Lore 101 by Eden Ashe, author of 'The Dragon's Heart'
“We’re dragons. We don’t do the mushy friend thing.” – Daniel
As a writer, I’m supposed to know my world and my characters inside and out. So I study them. I get to know them. I *gasp* talk to them. I know their quirks, their mannerisms, their likes and dislikes before I ever sit down to write them.
I knew everything there was to know about Daniel when I decided to write his story. I knew he was quiet. Seriously, he hates to talk, and he never, ever smiles. To make it more difficult, and so much more fun for me, he decided he wanted the most famous woman in the world. The A-list actress, Shelby Kincade.
I knew all of this going in. I knew it all as I opened the blank document, only for him to toss me the most epic curveball of my life: he’s a dragon. And not just a dragon, but the dragon. As in the king. As in thousands of years old, Dragon King.
Okay, I can work with this. I think. Well, I hope. I mean, how hard could it be?
Pretty darn hard, if you ask me. Why? Because Daniel really doesn’t like to talk. But, Shelby, the feisty little hellion, took my frustration, turned it upside down, and showed me how much fun I could have with learning Daniel’s world.
In fact, I’ll let you read her reaction to Daniel’s bombshell. In this little snippet, Daniel has just saved her life. The last time they saw each other, after a night of mind-blowing sex, both their worlds exploded. Now, a year later, they’re both still picking up the pieces, only to be thrust together again.
***
If he hadn’t ignored her demand for answers, freaking her out more than a little, she would have felt sorry for him. “Just so you know, Daniel, if I don’t know what’s going on, none of this is really happening.” She raised her brow in a dead-on imitation of the look he was currently giving her. “No way am I agreeing to be married, or mated, or whatever it is you think we’re doing here. Got it?”
“I’m a dragon.”
She gave him a slow, measured blink before she moved in. She pointed up at him. “Fine, keep making jokes, dragon boy, but I’m not kidding. None of this is happening until I know what the hell is going on.”
Luca choked as the muscle under Daniel’s left eye began to twitch. When she stood there, refusing to let him intimidate her, he took a step closer. Then another, until his massive body had her caged against the couch. She hadn’t even realized he’d walked her in a half circle as he’d stalked her. He slammed his hands on either side of her hips, leaving her with no way of escape.
His lip lifted in a sneer, his eyes deadlocked on hers. “Cut the act. It’s getting old, and I’m not buying it.” Closing her eyes, Shelby counted to ten very slowly. Out loud. When she finally opened them, she stuck her face right in his. “I don’t know what you’re talking about!” she yelled.
His hands clenched, the huge, corded, bulging muscles of his arms flexed, and his Mack truck shoulders tightened. White-hot violence flashed in his eyes.
Then, as proof she had a concussion or was seriously hallucinating, his pupils lengthened to slits. His jaw tensed as the blood drained from her face, but in the second it took her to blink, his eyes were back to normal.
Not the same for her heart rate. She wasn’t hallucinating. She knew it. If she was dreaming of Daniel, this is not what they’d be doing. So, concussion it was. It was the only explanation.
Read an excerpt:
A furious Daniel towered over her.
Realizing she was in an ambulance, she scooted back on the stretcher, pulling the sheet tighter around herself. Something was very, very off. There was no pain or range of motion issue with her shoulder. There was just a blackness where the last hour should have been. Whatever was wrong with her, it ran core deep, and had everything to do with the man treating her as if she’d caused all the wrongs in his world.
She let out a pathetic snort. He had vanished on her, leaving her to face the last year alone. The media wasn’t forgiving at the best of times, and they’d had a field day--field year--with America’s Good Girl falling from grace. A dead body, and the disappearance of the man accused of the crime, was too good of a story for the media not to run around the clock for a month straight.
It didn’t make any sense why he hated her. For as much hell as he’d caused her in the last eleven months, professionally and personally, nothing had prepared her for the blast of emotions that rocked her at seeing him standing close to her again. She had no idea what to do with the realization she’d missed him. As soon as she figured out what the hell was going on, she needed deep psychological help.
“So.” She was careful to keep her left arm tucked against her stomach as she tried in vain to put more distance between them. It still didn’t hurt, but the thought of ripping the rapidly healing wound open made her queasy. She’d never been a big fan of blood. Her teeth tugged at her bottom lip as she tried not to worry about how much space he took up, even while sitting on the bench. He was huge. “You’re alive.” When he leaned forward, bringing them closer together, she tried to keep her face impassive. Her gaze dropped to the huge forearms he braced against tree trunk-sized thighs, before she snapped her attention back to his face. He was a lunatic who looked to be on the verge of major violence. She wasn’t so confused she didn’t understand the combination was a powder keg with a lit fuse. “I wasn’t sure. The police said you were gone before the ambulance ever got to the hospital.”
“Disappointed, princess?”
She almost snorted at him. She’d spent the last year hoping he was still alive, and trying not to let the uncertainty drive her out of her mind. “I didn’t get myself shot on purpose, you know. So whatever you’re mad at me about, it’s not my fault. I didn’t ask them to call you.”
“Right.” He dragged his gaze from the mark over her heart back to her face. Though she was sure she was imagining it, she could have sworn his eyes lingered on her mouth. “Just like the Hunter showing up in your bedroom was just a weird twist of fate?”
“A hunter?” She asked, certain she was missing a huge part of the conversation. “Daniel, my house was in the most exclusive part of Los Angeles. There isn’t anywhere to hunt.”
“Ryuu.”
She remembered that word from their first date. He’d told her it was an ancient dragon curse because his sister didn’t like him using cuss words. Funny. She’d thought it was sweet at the time. Now she was sure it just made him bat-shit crazy.
