Elesian Dragon Mates: The Complete Series by Sammie Joyce

One young witch coming into her powers. Four smoking hot dragon shifters. Defending their way of life together.

Complete series in this boxed set.

I didn't choose the life of a coven leader. I was born into it and refusing the position wasn't an option.
When I met my dragons, my life changed for the better. Stepping into my new role became easier with their support.
But my bliss didn't last. It couldn't with the threats facing our coven and our way of life.
My sisters hated the dragons and blamed them for the violence. They didn't see things as I did and it was now my job to show strength and courage as I defended our coven and my dragons.
I wasn't sure how I'd face it all. I had no idea how bad it would get.
But I was certain that I wouldn't be alone. I was certain my dragon lovers wouldn't desert me. And when the baby came, things got so much more complicated. I was certain my life would never the the same again.

Was Rose naive? Was there any way she could be in love with four alpha males and not deal with jealousy, discontent, and uncertainty?

Will a baby complete this family or will their enemies tear them apart before they're ever together?

Read an excerpt:

"The dragons are all descended from the Bond family, but fortunately, they have been dying out for a while now; obviously, we do everything we can to keep them from breeding. Such acts only happen when one of them manages to slip from our control. Currently, all of the dragons in existence are male, which means that they will die out within a generation.”

Rose raised her hand.

“Yes, Rose?”

“Can’t they breed with human women?”

“No. Such offspring are not able to survive. The human and dragon genes seem to be incompatible.”

Rose wanted to ask if they could breed with witches, but decided to keep that question to herself.

“Their leader, Atticus Bond, was killed in the Great Rebellion, along with three others. There are now ten left, divided between the three covens.

“Even as reduced as their numbers are, they are still powerful enough to destroy the world if we let them get out of hand. Only the brute force of our magic can keep everyone safe. The Great Rebellion was particularly bloody even for a dragon uprising, but it had characteristics that are recognizable in all scenarios throughout history when the dragons have slipped our control.”

Joshua North always gets what he wants. And the mercenary wants Bethany in his bed. He wants her beautiful little body bent to his will.

She doesn’t surrender to his kiss.
He doesn’t back down from a challenge.
It’s going to be a sensual fight… to the death.

Read an excerpt:
Blinding lights. Aching lungs. Thunderous applause. The final show concludes the same way we rehearsed for months, the same way we performed for weeks. My muscles know the movements better than they understand rest. The prospect of after, of what comes next, makes my breath catch. Even as the primas take their bows, relief echoes around the stage. Vacations are planned. Relief for strained muscles. Everyone needs a break, even professional athletes. I’m the only one onstage dreading it.

We bow and curtsey with practiced grace. The curtain descends to the floor. Almost to the second we break formation—a flock of crows startled from the woods. The more exuberant among us, the young ones, the new ones, the ones using steroids, prance and jete toward the dressing rooms. Most of us limp our way out. One hundred percent of NFL players are injured every season. Professional dancing is the same. We hurl our bodies through the air, forcing massive impact through tired joints night after night. I catch my friend Marlena in my arms. Her face is white with pain.

“Ice,” she says. “Or better yet—tequila.”

I push my shoulder under hers as we exit the stage. “Don’t sell yourself short. You can have both.”

A delicate snort. “Not likely. We have to smile and flirt with the old men with big, fat wallets. And for what? I won’t be here next season. You won’t be, either.”

The reminder clangs inside me like a copper bell. I won’t be coming to the New York City Ballet after the break. We fall into our creaky chairs in the dressing room. “Are you going to miss it?”

“Miss it? Of course I’ll miss it.” Marlena turned twenty-eight last month. It’s comfortably retirement age for a dancer. “When the little children do their terrible pirouettes, when they sneeze and throw up and cry all over my leotard, I’ll think fondly of the beautiful art I left behind. Then I’ll be able to walk home. That won’t happen if I try to dance another season.”

“You’ll make a wonderful teacher. You know you were mine.” She didn’t teach me to dance. It was my first love, before I learned to flip and contort myself. Before I ever leapt from a trapeze bar.

Marlena taught me the ropes of the ballet company when I joined two years ago. Most of them thought I wouldn’t last a week. Some of them didn’t want me to. It’s a rigid world, the hierarchy stacked with graduates of Juilliard or the John Cranko school.

I don’t have a pedigree.

All I have is a body that does what it must, no matter how much it hurts.

Which means changing out of my sweaty leotard into a fresh one. We’re contractually obligated to attend the ball. Like Marlena said, we should smile and flirt with the high society people who attend. Both the male and female dancers have to do it. It’s what convinces the sponsors to write checks that will fund the next season. By the time they’re rehearsing The Nutcracker I’ll be in New Orleans, the place I swore I’d never return.

All the Way Home

Juliette has been walking through life broken and hurting for years, always relying on her friend Tavish to be there for her when she needs him. As soon as he met her, Tavish knew he would do anything for her, that is, until he enlists in the infantry and leaves town, and possibly Juliette, for good.

Soon the events of 9/11 change everything, and an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan prompts him to reconnect with Juliette 5 years later. Despite the time apart she soon finds herself leaning on him again as their reunion leads to something much more. That’s when tragedy strikes during his deployment, and Tavish comes home shattered. Is Juliette strong enough to offer him the support he has always given her? Will it be enough for both of them to find their way home?

All The Way Home is a Canadian-based military love story, the first in the Way Home series but is a stand-alone with its own HEA.

This book is intended for audiences 18+. For those dealing with combat related PTSD, some scenes may be triggering.

The Fight For Home (Book 2) coming January 11

From their first night together, nothing about Mark and Megan Lawson’s lives has been normal. Or easy. Finding a way to keep a marriage strong with kids, jobs and mortgages is hard on the best of days. Add the military in, the kind of tragedy that makes you forget to breathe, and a lot of hurt that just keeps piling on and it doesn’t look like their love will survive the storm.

Now, though, Megan is sick. The big kind of sick. When Mark finds himself standing by her bedside, he has a choice to make. It’s time for the two of them to figure out where it all went wrong, and decide if it’s worth the fight to hold on to each other

The Fight For Home is the second book in the Way Home Series. It can be read as a stand-alone novel, but to see more of these characters and their beginnings you might want to start with book one, All The Way Home.

About the Book

Title: The Wild Irish Girl

Author: C.B. Halverson

Genre: Historical Erotic Romance

Audrey Byrnes doesn’t mind playing the wild Irish princess for London’s elite aristocracy—as long as they buy her novels. With her father’s Dublin theater in ruins and her sister’s illness growing worse, she’s the only person who can save her family from the gutter. As much as she enjoys the occasional passing dalliance, being the primary breadwinner of her Irish family means either marrying well or not at all.

Dr. Joseph Moorland knows it’s wrong to dress in disguise to hobnob with London’s high society, but he figures one night would do no harm—until he meets the charming and mysterious novelist, Audrey Byrnes. Too poor to marry, he hides his real identity until an accident reveals the truth, and what started as a mild flirtation turns to a complex game of secrets, passion, and desire.

Thrown together by circumstance, Audrey and Joseph find themselves in a tense alliance as they try to crawl their way up from their humble beginnings and into the highest echelons of the ton. But when one of the most formidable political players in London sets his sights on having Audrey for himself, she has to choose between saving her family from charges of treason or losing the man she loves forever.

Author Bio

C.B. Halverson is the alter-ego of Colleen Halverson, author of the Aisling Chronicles. Ever since she picked up her first bodice ripper as an impressionable adolescent, she wanted to explore the erotic female experience through writing. It wouldn’t be until much later that she allowed herself the freedom to write these sordid tales, and now she fears she may never stop. When she’s not staring out the window and dreaming up stories, she can be found trying out new Thai recipes, drinking wine with her girlfriends, or hiking through the woods with her husband and two children.

He’s so hot. Like hotter than the Oklahoma sun in August sort of hot. Like steal your breath and scorch your panties kind of hot that will leave a good girl begging for anything.

It should be illegal to walk around without a shirt on, looking the way he does. His sculpted arms are sinful. His chest is just as sturdy, all hard planes and chiseled muscle. Dirty blonde hair and icy baby blues complete the package deal.

Lazy little rich boys shouldn’t have those sort of muscles everywhere. It’s a total lie. He’s never known a day of hard work in his life. Everything has been spoon fed to him since he was an infant, but apparently, no one told God.

It’s ridiculous. We couldn’t be more different, right?

I should not be attracted to Jake Roberson. ~Cassie

Life’s great when you’re a Roberson: new cars, the best of everything, and more chicks than you can possibly sleep your way through in a lifetime. It’s all so easy. But then a chance accident puts her right in my arms, throwing everything off course.

She is the most sheltered girl to ever walk the planet. She’s a total do-gooder, always working and volunteering for this or that. Forget being a teacher’s pet, she’s the town pet. Everyone loves her. We can’t possibly have anything in common, and since when do I even care what I have in common with a someone? I don’t.

And I damn sure don’t care about being good friends with a chick. Except…now, I do. I want to see her step down from her pedestal, let her wild curls go, and live. There is so much she hasn’t experienced but should. And I’m going to help her, as her friend.

But no matter how many times I tell myself to get my act together, no matter how often I swear I don’t want in those tight little shorts of hers, I can’t deny it any longer.

I should not be tempted by Cassie Hall. ~Jake

His lifelong dream turned into a haunting nightmare.

Jamie Williams had his chance but blew it. A series of very bad choices not only destroyed his major league baseball career but brought a dishonor his family refused to forget. His love of the game remained though and drew him back to the field--not as a player, but as the head coach of the Falmouth Troopers. Falling for a girl from New York who thought baseball, the only real love of his life, was just a bunch of guys standing around picking daisies was so not in his game plan.

Her summer in Cape Cod was supposed to be a new start.

When Mandy Gilman happened upon the chance to take her paramedic skills to Cape Cod for the summer, she packed up and didn't look back. Mandy needed a serious change--an escape from the heavy disappointment in her parents' eyes and the prying pity in her friends' comments. The Cape was the perfect opportunity to find herself again under the warmth of the sun and relaxing sea breeze. She even let her new roommate drag her to a couple of ball games. Baseball bored her but watching some hot guys run the bases was better than sitting around feeling sorry for herself. The incredibly sexy coach who seemed determined to make her fall in love with him and the game didn't hurt...

Mandy has no intention of falling in love ever again, but Jamie has no plans to let her walk out of his life. He might have blown his past, but the feisty paramedic is his future. Excerpt

"Spider!"

"What? Where?" Callie started dancing around and screaming.

"Callie! Stop!" Her roommate froze. "It's there." Mandy pointed to the blanket that covered her. A hairy, brown arachnid was ambling around right about where her abdomen was.

"Oh! Ew! How—we need to kill it!" Callie grabbed one of Mandy's work boots and raised it over her head. As the boot came crashing down, Mandy rolled from the bed and landed on the floor with a thunk.

"Ouch!" She rubbed her elbow where it had made contact with the tile floor.

"Are you okay?" Callie grabbed her hand and pulled her to her feet.

"What the hell, Cal! A boot?"

"Um, did you see that sucker? He was huge! And I didn't have a baseball bat."

Mandy turned back to the bed. Reaching out, she slowly lifted the boot and the spider scurried out from under the heel.

"Quick! Do something before he escapes!" Callie started squealing and dancing again.

"Will you stop!" Mandy grabbed the edge of her blanket and folded it up and over the critter. From there she wrapped it up like a giant burrito. Funny she should be thinking about burritos.

"What are you going to do now?" Callie asked, finally standing still.

"We are going to take this blanket outside and dump that bastard where he belongs."

"Um, okay." Callie reached for one end while Mandy took the other.

"Let’s go."

"Yes, ma'am." Together they ran through the cottage laughing and squealing. Once they made it to the porch, they threw the burrito blanket over the railing, held one edge, and let the rest roll toward the ground. The perpetrator flew across the sidewalk where he landed on all eight legs. After standing still for a second, he started running back toward them.

"Mandy! He's coming back! Do something!"

"What the hell do you want me to do? You do something!"

"Is there a problem, ladies?" Mandy froze. It couldn't be. Oh, God, don't let that be—she slowly looked up from where she watched the spider. Her eyes followed a pair of long, lean legs to a trim waist clad in loose running shorts, up and over a broad, muscular chest covered in nothing but little drops of perspiration and found a pair of milk chocolate eyes. The owner of the eyes was grinning as he perused her body the same way. She looked down at herself.

"Oh shit!" She grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around her hips.

"Good morning, Mandy. And—?"

"Callie. I'm her roommate and bestie."

"I heard you two screaming and I came running." His gaze slowly raked over Mandy’s body once again. "I’m sure glad I did."

"There was a spider," Callie finally replied. "He was huge. And hairy and he was coming right for us."

Jamie looked down at the sidewalk. "This little guy here? Aw, he's harmless."

"Not so harmless when he was crawling across my bed." Mandy finally managed to find her words again.

Jamie chuckled as he leaned down and scooped the spider up. "Come here, little dude. You’re one lucky guy." He tossed him over the fence into the next yard. "There. You're all safe now."

"Thank you!" Callie ran down the steps and threw her arms around him. "You're my hero."

He laughed as he extricated himself from Callie's grip. "It's all in a days' work. Glad I happened by at the right time." Jamie looked over Callie, meeting Mandy's eyes again with a big grin.

"He's a firefighter, Callie. That's what they do—save the damsel in distress."

"Ooohhh, a firefighter? No wonder you're so strong." She ran her hands up and down his arms real slow as her tongue peeked out and slid over her top lip.

Stepping back from Callie's touch, he smiled up at Mandy. "That what you plan to wear tonight?"

Every drop of blood in her body raced to the capillaries in her face. "Perhaps," she replied, trying to sound much more calm, cool, and collected than she felt with Jamie's eyes pretty much already undressing her. "You said wear something comfortable."

Mandy was vaguely aware of Callie's gaze flitting back and forth between her and Jamie but she couldn't seem to break away from his stare. The longer he looked at her the more she leaned toward the tearing off her clothes option.

"Works for me." Jamie grinned and Mandy felt her entire body flush with the connotation of his words.

“Do I get a good-luck kiss?” he asked after checking for cameras, his hands framing my waist.

“Paxton.” I tried to make it sound like a warning, but it came out too breathy, too wanting. For crying out loud, I couldn’t even control my own voice against this guy.

He squeezed lightly and then groaned. “Did I ever tell you that I love this dress?”

I shook my head. The spaghetti-strap maxi dress had been a last-minute choice, but Penna said she was going to burn all my pants if she saw me in them for the twenty-first day in a row.

He leaned down, his mouth against the shell of my ear. “I can feel every curve under my hands, which makes me pretty damn desperate to slide this up your legs and really get my hands on you. But I won’t. You know why?”

I shook my head.

“Because you haven’t said yes—yet—and I’m a goddamned gentleman.”

My fingers traced the lines of the Chinese symbol tattoos that ran up his neck, simply unable not to touch him. “Do I have to say yes to everything to get to kiss you?” I asked.

His breath stuttered. “Do you want to say yes?”

Our eyes met, and it would have been so easy to say it, to throw my hesitation overboard and jump. But that wasn’t me, and it didn’t matter that I was in a breezy dress under the Italian sun with the hottest extreme athlete on the planet, I was still...me. “I’m thinking about it.”

His forehead puckered for a millisecond before he relaxed and smoothed the line of my waist. “Then I think we can take yeses on a case-by-case basis.”

My heart pounded in anticipation.
“Leah, would you like me to kiss you?”

“Yes,” I answered instantly.

Our hips met first as he drew me in. My hands slipped down the edges of his T-shirt to grasp the inked lines of his biceps. Arms like his should be modeled, sculpted, revered... or maybe just outlawed.

“Do you want to kiss me?” I asked.

“Hell yes,” he answered, then brushed his mouth against mine once before settling over me.

I opened for him, and he dove in, his tongue filling my mouth while my ass filled his hands. Gentleman, indeed.
